TeamINFINIT Athlete Melissa Bishop Caps Indoor Season With a PB

Anybody that knows me is keenly aware of my love for sport.  The coolest thing about what I do, is that I get to spend most of my time working with those that we fuel.  Today I got to meet with a track guru and coach Kurt Downes along with Canadian Olympian Melissa Bishop (800m).  We connect frequently to discuss how we can best support one another.  Today we were discussing an upcoming video we are shooting that will feature Melissa and I trying to keep up on a bike.  Also we were putting finishing touches on the Future Stars Camp that features Melissa in a few weeks.  A great event for 13-17 year old Athletic athletes wanting to learn what it takes to jump to the next level: Future Stars - Melissa Camp

Side benefit of today was hearing first hand how the Birmingham Grand Prix and her latest race in France went.  I find it fascinating the difference between success and a result less than that is a couple of seconds.  Few would know what elite athletes go through - Melissa needed real competition to gauge where her training and efforts have positioned her.  Two trips there and back to the UK were necessary - have a look at Melissa's blog to learn the detail: Melissa's Indoor Finale

In the coming months we will track her progress, check back with us routinely to see how the 2014 season is going.  We are thrilled to fuelling Melissa's journey back to the Olympics in Rio.
