Day in the Life of Noelle Montcalm

Tuesday, April 12

7:00 - Wake up. I don't set an alarm but usually wake up at the same time everyday. I immediately try to get about 600mL of water in me.

7:30 - Breakfast is my favourite! Today (and everyday!) it's oatmeal with cinnamon, peanut butter, banana, and blueberries. I always make a batch at the beginning of the week so I can just grab, heat up, and eat!

Noelle is the meal-prep Queen! 
8:00 - COFFEE! While I browse the internet for longer than I should and do any computer stuff.

9:00 - Get ready for practice. Pack my bag, gather my lunch and fluids (Infinit Nutrition custom fuel in my green bottle, Infinit Nutrition Raw and Recovery in my purple smoothie container).

Delicious, nutritious... and convenient! 
10:00 - Out the door, start drinking my custom fuel, and grab a small snack (usually homemade energy balls).

10:45 - Activation exercises at the track + warm up.

11:45 - Spikes on and ready to run fast! Today it was a short hurdle speed session - 14x60m practicing my non-dominant lead leg over the hurdles.

1:00 - Quick snack (smoothie with Infinit Raw & Recovery) before my lifting session.

1:30 - Lunch today was a tuna sandwich and carrots - I always pack food.

1:45 - Therapy - keeping the body in order and ready for the next practice.

2:30 - Cool down - strides, stretching, foam rolling! Very important and never neglected.

3:00 - Head home - some days it's picking up groceries.
4:00 - Depending on my energy levels and the training session, I usually grab even just a 15 minute nap/lie there with legs up & eyes closed.

5:15 - Time to make dinner already. I do a lot of prep on the weekend to set me up to quickly throw meals together during the week.

6:00 - Today it was beef stir fry with coconut rice.

7:30 - Some TV & tea time with the bf. (Favourites include: Jeopardy, Survivor, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, Suits).

8:45 - Snack time - apple with cinnamon and some granola/nuts.

10:00 - Time for bed and reading until my eyes are heavy - back at it tomorrow!
